HOW DO I BOOK A SERVICE?

You may book your first service by creating an account HERE.

 

NOTE: while we do our best to honor your preferred booking time, many factors and variables may contribute to a start time slightly before or after the scheduled booking. Please allow a normal 60 minute variable on either side of your scheduled booking. Additional specific requests should be included in service notes during booking.

Are there any breed/age restrictions?

We accept all breeds and ages! We do require up to date vaccines and overall safe temperament with humans - any special needs or health conditions must be noted at the time of first booking in order to best provide the appropriate care/caretaker.

Do you have an app?

Once your client account has been created, you'll be able to book directly via our app - we use Time To Pet for ease of booking and modifications! Not tech savvy? Not to worry - there is a web/desktop version of our Client Portal as well. All report cards including photos and a recap will be available in app/on the portal following service completion.

What is included? will you feed my pet?

All visits include potty time and clean up, refilling of water bowls, putting out food, and tons of love/snuggles/attention! If oral or topical medication needs to be administered, please make clear note of this in booking request along with any other special requests. will I always get the same pet care professional?

We work as a team at Peace Love! While we cannot guarantee a specific Pet Care Provider for every visit, we do try to maintain the highest possible service consistency for the well-being of your pet. Please note any preferred Pet Care Provider (or backup) when booking, and we will try our best to satisfy your request!

will my pet be safe?

Peace Love Puppies, LLC is Bonded/Insured through Business Insurers of the Carolinas. Additionally, all our Pet Care Providers undergo Interviews, Background Checks, Pet First Aid Certification, and Professional Pet Care Training prior to being assigned any service. Beyond these safety nets, you can rest assured that your pet will be treated as one of our own. We use a two-hand leash grasp technique when possible and make every effort to ensure the safety of both your pet and your home. We are locally owned and operated and take pride in servicing our community with the highest standards of practice. 

How do I pay?

All payments methods must be on file prior to appointment and are auto-processed post walk week via our secure Stripe account. We accept all major credit cards. *Additional payment options may be available at the discretion of Peace Love Puppies, LLC.

Tipping: Tips are always appreciated, but not required. Cash and tips made via our invoicing system/payment on file are both accepted.

do I need to give you a key?

We want you to be comfortable and feel secure - many of our clients use smart locks or keyless entry/codes. This information is stored in the notes on our secure software and only available to our Admin Office and the assigned Pet Care Provider. If you prefer a spare key for entry, we require either a lockbox or an updated location of where a key is/how to access your home on your account. 

How far in advance should I book?

It is recommended to book as soon as you know you will need a service. While we do try to accept any and all requests for bookings, there are times when availability may be limited or capacity full. *Last minute booking fees may be applied to bookings made after 8pm for the following day OR within 12 hours of a service. 

what If I need to cancel?

While we do understand that life happens, we request that any cancellations be made no less than 24 hours in advance of a scheduled booking. *Visit cancellations less than 24hrs in advance will incur a Late Cancel Fee of 50% cost of service.

 

**Boarding/Overnight services cancelled less than 7 days prior to service will incur a Late Cancel Fee of 30% total cost of services.

What about bad weather?

We are committed to each and every appointment regardless of the elements. In the case of inclement or extreme and unsafe weather, we will notify ASAP of cancellation! We may also downgrade (at discretion) regularly scheduled Walks to Drop In visits/rates in the case your pet will not walk in rain.
